What do you enjoy most about wealth management?

I enjoy planning for people’s financial future and providing guidance on the best ways to achieve their goals.

What are the biggest challenges?

Planning for the unknown and helping clients modify their behavior.

What professional accomplishments are you most proud of?

I have obtained my MBA and multiple designations in the financial services industry, most importantly the CFP designation. I’ve also taught financial courses at UW-Milwaukee and Wisconsin Lutheran College.

What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?

My greatest accomplishment is starting a family with my wife, Jenna.

What quality of yours makes you best suited to do what you do?

I am able to work with many different types of personalities. I am patient, understanding and have strong analytical skills that, when combined, allow me to develop holistic financial plans.

How should people think about their wealth?

I believe people should think about their wealth as you would a garden. You should seed it, help it grow, maintain it, and ensure it produces the fruits that will allow you to accomplish all of your goals.

What do you love to do outside of work?

I like to spend time with my family, watch most sports, golf, fish and travel.

What’s the most influential book you’ve read?

“The Intelligent Investor” by Benjamin Graham – I read this book in high school and it pushed me toward the financial industry path.

What would you be doing if you didn’t work in the financial industry?

I would be pursuing a job in golf, either as attempting to be a professional or in golf course management.
