What do you enjoy most about wealth management?

Really helping our clients to use their money both efficiently and effectively. I enjoy helping our clients to understand their financial picture and how to interpret any changes needed to be made.

What are the biggest challenges?

Developing and putting processes in place so the office operates in an efficient manner.

What professional accomplishments are you most proud of?

Earning my FINRA Series 7 and 63. Actively pursuing CFP^® Designation. Additionally, I am proud of my many and varied contributions to Roell Capital Management LLC over my tenure here and my current position in the firm.

What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?

Graduating from Marquette University with double majors of Finance and International Business. Additionally, I am very proud to have served as the President of the Marquette Rugby Football Club.

What quality of yours makes you best suited to do what you do?

Work Ethic. Continuing to improve my knowledge and understanding of the industry.

How should people think about their wealth?

People should think of their wealth as a tool. In order to accomplish the goals you have established, you need to use that tool correctly and in an effective manner.

What do you love to do outside of work?

Aside from exercising and trying to stay fit, I love to cook and try new recipes. Being a native a St. Louis, I love to barbeque and can make a tasty rack of ribs.

What’s the most influential book you’ve read?

The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham. This book really laid the groundwork for me as an investor and shed some light on how to approach investing for the first time.

What would you be doing if you didn’t work in the financial industry?

I would be the owner of a chain of restaurants in the Greater Milwaukee area serving different ethnic cuisines at each restaurant.
